The animated vs the real

So the toku community, or at the very least, the American Toku community are in hot debates about the future of our precious Power Ranger Series. Will it be animated? Will it not be animated? So the general census seems to be that the charm of Power Rangers is that it's live action and slightly cheesy at times however an animated series would be much cheaper to produce and wouldn't have to function depending on the stories of the previous year's sentai, we could have a lot of original stories!

Either way, it seems that only time will tell what we will get, but let's not forget that Power Rangers is rooted in live action, but an animated series could be pretty cool as well. For now, the fans will debate.

So here's to hoping that we get both instead of having to choose. It's like getting our cake and eating it too.
